Cheesy Headband is a powerful hybrid originating from a cross between the potent classic Headband OG cut from California and the UK's most coveted clone-only strain, the Cheese - both of which are known for massive yields and distinct legendary flavours.
The Headband parent contributes vigour and tight inter-nodal stacking to the Cheesy Headband offspring, while also imparting a complex lemon/pine flavour to the full-bodied unmistakable Cheese smell that has graced the nostrils of veteran smokers in UK for decades. (Of course we’re talking about expats here who have moved abroad where it’s legal to smoke!)
The Cheese typically dominates in the smell department, but there's still a lingering lemon drop aftertaste from the Headband, which is more noticeable on the exhale. Be ready to accommodate vigorous vegetative growth when growing weed indoors and long, thick colas during flower. Cheesy Headband is also a very hardy strain of cannabis seeds that has been proven to be incredibly resistant to mould, powdery mildew, and other common cannabis pests.
While these plants usually take about a week longer than others to finish flowering, the additional wait time is well worth it considering the bountiful harvest it packs on during the final stages of budding. Expect to harvest in October outdoors, and she'll need at least 9 weeks to finish up indoors. The Original Seeds Store has received reports that Cheesy Headband seeds from Emerald Triangle Seeds can produce tall plants like a sativa in stature, but her effect is a relatively balanced 50/50 mix of indica and sativa.
